A group of washed-up vaudevillians decide to put on a show when a friend of theirs inherits a run-down theater, but on the opening night a spiteful group of hoods sabotage the performance. The BBC eventually gets word of their efforts, however, and agrees to broadcast the entire show live from the theater. Nothing more than an opportunity for a bunch of stage performers to try out the big screen--the skits are fine, but that's all there is to it. leave a comment
