The third "Star Trek" film is not as good as the second, but it's reasonably entertaining fare for non-fans. Directed by Leonard Nimoy, the picture begins where STAR TREK II: THE WRATH OF KHAN left off. The crew of the Enterprise
is coming home when they learn that their beloved ship is
slated to be put on the shelf. Mr. Spock, who apparently died in the last feature, is now kept alive in spirit. Adm. James T. Kirk (William Shatner) must find Spock's body and bring it to the planet Vulcan, along with a crew member who is possessed by Spock's thoughts. Can Kirk complete his
mission when his ship is due for the junk heap? We bet you know the answer.
