One of Blake Edwards' earliest scripts, STAMPEDE is uncharacteristic of the lighthearted comedies that would become the writer-director's mainstay. Cameron and Castle play cattle-baron brothers who find their territory impinged upon when the government opens up surrounding lands to homesteaders.
