Three confidence men (Haymes, Young, and Stander) are on the lam and disguise themselves as clergymen in order to fool the cops. Unfortunately, the cops are not the only people fooled when the trio gets mistaken for real ministers in a Skid Row mission. Gradually they let the Roman
collars get to them and end up going straight. Former child star Bartholomew plays a young minister who encounters the three. This predictable comedy does have some good moments, even though you can see every joke a mile off. The cast is terrific under unexceptional direction.
