Chiari, a monk, is the only person who knows the secret ingredients to a valuable and exotic liquor. When he is unable to get enough money out of the local wine merchant, Chiari leaves for Australia, where he forms a partnership with Albertson. Chiari sends his earnings back to the Italian monastery and never forsakes his vows, not even when Albertson tries to get the formula from him by using the sexy publicity girl, Wallace.
