Morecambe and Wise are a pair caught up in foreign intrigue. The thin plot has them getting mixed up with Lemkow, a mysterious agent involved with an English-Russian trade pact. It's all pretty muddled and attempts at humor fall flat. Morecambe and Wise are the film's saving graces. They
were popular with British television audiences at the time and three of their best loved routines are included in the story.
