A gang headed by Bachelor and lorded over by Barcroft has been illegally shooting game out of season, something that Rogers puts a stop to when he traces the murder of his buddy, the game warden, to Bachelor's ranch. He almost gets frozen to death in a meat freezer for his efforts but
