Dull Starrett western in which a crooked gambler fleeces the local ranchers by conning them into a $50,000 debt over a dam they've just built. The ranchers go along with the con man's terms and agree to pay off the dough on the due date to avoid stiff penalties, but the crook doesn't want the money on time, so he hires some guns to prevent the cattlemen from getting their beef to market on time, thus rendering them broke.
