Dutch director-writer-actor-singer Van Veen is the force behind this drama, which details via flashbacks the rift in a marriage. Struck with the wanderlust, Van Veen has affairs and ruins the relationship. The split is hard enough, but missiing his young son is too much to bear, so he writes and sings a series of songs expressing his mixed emotions.
