A collection of 19 animated shorts, mostly united by the desire to shock and/or disgust. The exceptions include two of the best entries. In Pixar's "For the Birds" (2000), a flock of chattering little birds gang up on the goofy larger bird and get their just desserts, while "Ghost of Stephen Foster" (1999) — to music by the Squirrel Nut Zippers — pays loving (and spooky) homage to the surreal B&W cartoons of Betty Boop
