A cheap but effective creeper starring Sondergaard (who also played the Spider Woman in SHERLOCK HOLMES AND THE SPIDER WOMAN) as an evil scientist who feigns blindness in order to entice nubile young women into her home where they will supposedly be working as nurses. With the help of her brutish assistant Hatton, Sondergaard drains their blood and uses it in her unholy experiments with plants and insects.
