Dix plays a successful criminal attorney who has made a bundle keeping rotten members of the mob from being tossed in the cooler. Dix is forced to reconsider his questionable ethics when his brother, who was an FBI agent, is killed by the same criminals he has made a career of defending.
The lawyer joins the Department of Justice and becomes a special agent out to get mob boss Naish and his goons. The climax is a massive shootout at the gangsters' hideout in which virtually everyone is killed except Naish's sister, Callahan, who decides to give up a flirtation with crime for a
romance with Dix.
