An average suspenser about a photographer, Pierce, who kills in retaliation for his wife's death on the operating table. Pierce works with news reporter Garrick on the case without revealing his true identity. Clues point to surgeon Culley, though his daughter, Lisle, insists that he is
dead. Pierce's charade is up by the finale, however, and Culley and his daughter escape danger.
