Spaceways

A weak British science-fiction effort based on a radio play and starring American actor Duff as a rocket scientist helping the British with their space program. All his hard work is interrupted, however, when he discovers that his wife, Chevreau, is having an affair with a fellow scientist, Osborn, who also is a Soviet spy. When the sly pair disappear at about the same time Duff launches England's first satellite, inspector Wheatley assumes that the angry scientist killed them and shipped their bodies into outer space.
