Some religious films reveal their themes subtly. This one etches its message on a lead pipe and proceeds to bash the audience soundly over the head with it. Three down-and-outers--a vicar's daughter turned actress, a test pilot, and a factory worker/failed gambler--all live lives of
little meaning. Enter the Billy Graham crusade, complete with the famed evangelist playing himself, and their once-empty souls are rejuvenated. The film isn't helped any by its saccharine presentation. Among the cast only Graham comes across as sincere, but that's to no one's surprise. He also
served as producer.
