This forgettable film from Wertmuller failed to make the impression that SEVEN BEAUTIES and SWEPT AWAY did years earlier. This time Wertmuller's sexist male lead (taking over from Giancarlo Giannini) is the superb Enrico Montesano, playing Oscar, the moderately intelligent, hard-working husband of young and beautiful Ester (Varonica Lario). Their romance is long gone, and Ester has discovered an attraction for her best friend, Adele (Luisa de Santis).
