So's Your Uncle

Struggling actor-playwright Woods tries to avoid his creditors by impersonating his elderly uncle, only to get into a bigger jam when he's hit by a limo carrying Knox. The wealthy woman takes Woods home to her aunt, Burke, who is looking for another spouse. Woods, in his phony garb, fits the bill. He convinces the old woman to back "his nephew's" play, continuing his masquerade. Suddenly the real uncle shows up, and the film ends with a double wedding of him and Burke, and Woods and Knox.
