This film, which was made in 1969, was not shown in the US until 1973, when CBS aired it on late-night television. Hayworth plays a former Ziegfeld Follies star, now an alcoholic. Adding to her misery are her two sons, with whom she cannot cope. The boys are so nasty that they pull off a
jewelry-store heist in Arizona but die because they double-crossed each other. The film was criticized by CBS executives, who thought it had just blood, no plot, and a terrible dubbing job. Hayworth did all her own dialog in each version of the film: Italian, French, and English.
