The Sons Of Katie Elder: Review

This was John Wayne's first film after his battle with cancer, and one would never guess he had undergone surgery shortly before this was made: Wayne rides, shoots and fights as though the worst that had happened to him was a touch of the flu. He stars as the eldest son of Texas widow Katie Elder who joins his three brothers (Dean Martin, Earl Holliman, Michael Anderson Jr.) in the hunt for their father's killer.
