Son Of A Stranger

This incredibly antisocial little film has Kenney, a slum youth, supporting himself by mugging old women. He dreams his missing father is rich, so when he gets a lead on his whereabouts, he leaves his hated mother and goes off to find him. In a small town he murders a woman, then finds that his father is the town doctor. When the doctor discovers that the killer is his own son, he gets his gun but accidentally is shot himself. Kenney is arrested for his killing and hangs. Kenney basically repeats his role from THE SLASHER (1953, Brit.).
