Set at the Grand Hotel on Michigan's Mackinac Island, this is the story of a young Chicago playwright, Christopher Reeve, who comes to the hotel and sees a photo of an actress who appeared there in 1912. Previously he'd met an old lady who asked him "to come back" to her, and who bore a
striking resemblance to the woman in the photo. Soon Richard realizes that he did love the actress, Jane Seymour, in another life. He then conspires to go back in time and recapture his love. Jeannot Szwarc does well in the director's chair, and Jean-Pierre Dorleac (brother of Francoise) deserves
special commendation for his costumes. But Seymour is given too little to do, and Reeve...
