Actor-turned-director Mocky works in front of and behind the camera in this angry look at life in France after the events of May 1968. Mocky plays the older brother of anarchist Le Guillou, who, with his girl friend, turns to mass murder as an extension of the May Day riots. While trying to make contact with his brother, Mocky falls victim to a police trap, but in the process his brother is able to escape. Mocky's film includes some interesting touches but ultimately a revolution is a revolution is a revolution.
