Solarbabies

SOLARBABIES is a cookbook film of unlikely ingredients, incorporating parts of the MAD MAX trilogy, with sections of E.T., ROLLERBALL, DUNE, and a smattering of biker films as well. The story opens in the future, where the world has been transformed into a vast desert, thanks to the nefarious doings of an organization known as "The Protectorate." Orphaned children and teenagers now live in special camps run by the Protectorate. Their only outlet is a hockey-like game played on rollerskates.
