Soggy Bottom U.S.A.

A weak comedy about a sheriff who tries to keep law and order in his southern community but gains little of the support he needs. The script is as weak as they come, but a knockout cast makes the film worth watching. Everyone from Ben Johnson and Jack Elam (THE WILD BUNCH) to P.J. Soles (ROCK 'N' ROLL HIGH SCHOOL) to Don Johnson (television's "Miami Vice") shows style in this one.
