A decent war picture set in Korea just hours before the cease-fire, featuring a psychotic captain, Goddard, planning one final attack in the hopes of achieving a moment of glory. While doing so, however, he steps on a land mine and cannot step off without being blown up. Private Ging
offers his assistance by wrapping Goddard in flak jackets for protection, but gets himself wounded in the process. The cease-fire is signed and Goddard apologizes to his men, who refuse to accept his feeble excuse.
