Clean-cut delinquent McNichol tears up a small town, smashing one stolen car after another, with the town's homecoming queen (who also happens to be the sheriff's daughter) along for the ride. Hanging footage borrowed from such New World features as MOVING VIOLATIONS; EAT MY DUST; GRAND THEFT AUTO; and THUNDER AND LIGHTING--on a minimal plot reminiscent of TV fare, SMOKEY BITES THE DUST is a wholly forgettable effort. leave a comment
