A well-meaning but but overly naive depiction of the unfair treatment of modern-day Indians. Ford plays the rancher whose pal, George, has hidden a young Indian, Ramirez, accused of murdering a storekeeper. With the sadistic sheriff, Wynn, trailing the fugitive, George decides to turn Ramirez in to the police and use the reward to obtain the services of a lawyer.
