Youngster Withers has her hopes set on breaking into Hollywood as an actress on the silver screen, but runs into some not-too-shining realities. She tries to enlist the aid of her uncle (Wilcoxon) , a film director, and finds him a washed-up, bottle-tipping has-been with no future.
