Smiling Irish Eyes

This early musical, which suffers from poor, haphazard direction, features Moore in her first all-singing, all-dancing role. Hall plays an Irish songster who decides to try pushing his talent on Broadway. He takes off for the bright lights, leaving his sweet lass Moore behind. She follows him to America, where she eventually becomes disillusioned. This was Moore's first real chance to prove her vocal abilities, and she shines through. McCormick, Moore's husband, served as producer.
