Morris plays the fiance to Smith, an heiress whose three previous betrotheds have died mysterious deaths. The setting is Smith's mansion, which is reportedly haunted and complete with sliding panels, creaking footsteps, and dimming lights. Good performances by Hale, Patrick, Westley, and other cast members, and well-paced direction by Seiler are among the highlights in this suspenseful comedy/mystery. leave a comment
