Steve Carell, who plays cringe-worthy boss Michael Scott on The Office, has inked a three-year first-look deal with Warner Bros.
The deal comes after Get Smart grossed $130 million domestically and $230 million worldwide for Warner Bros. Although the studio is ramping up a sequel for Carell, it will not be a part of the overall deal, reports Variety .

Anne Hathaway is finally speaking out about the arrest of her ex-boyfriend Raffaello Follieri.Follieri, 30, was arrested in June on charges of wire fraud and money laundering, and had been dating Hathaway, 25, for four years before she broke off the relationship hours before his arrest, reports Us Weekly.Hathaway, who was interviewed for October's W magazine, said, "As soon as I found out about the arrest, I had to get on a plane to Mexico to do a press tour for Get Smart," she says in the issue. "And then I spent a week in shock at a friend's house."The actress said that working during such an intense emotional experience was eased by the kindness of friends and her costar Steve Carell. Hathaway told W, "Steve Carell stepped up for me during an interview when someone asked a question [about it]. He said, 'At some point you're going to have to talk about this time in your life. After a year in which her boyfriend was under legal investigation multiple times, Anne Hathaway may have seen the writing on the wall when she broke up with Raffaello Follieri last weekend. The Italian businessman was arraigned Tuesday for wire fraud and money laundering. Follieri's bail has been set at $21 million (!). Once th cash is posted, he'll be on house arrest. His next court date is July 9.According to the AP, Follieri allegedly falsely told an investor that he managed the Vatican's financial affairs, promising he'd be able to sell Catholic Church properties on U.S. soil at a major discount.
