Small Town Girl

When millionaire playboy Granger speeds through a small town, he gets more than he bargained for with a 30-day stay in the slammer. This causes problems with his engagement to Miller, the showgirl he had hoped to elope with. Instead, Granger finds love in the arms of the judge's daughter, Powell, who acts as guardian for Granger during his one night on the town. Many well-performed song-and-dance numbers are interspersed throughout, including several numbers staged by Busby Berkeley, who added his usual ingenious touches.
