A satire on the old Hollywood oater stars, somewhat influenced by the life of William "Bill" Boyd, has Mahoney playing an obnoxious and egotistical movie star who takes full advantage of his catapult into fame. This is much to the dismay of the many studio people who have to endure him,
especially Adams as the press agent assigned to watch over the rowdy cowboy. When a young boy wins a contest with the reward of a month's stay in the home of Mahoney, Adams has her hands full trying to hide the real cowboy from the lad. But this proves a blessing in disguise as the kid sees
