Camp Rolling Hills has a problem. It seems that all of the organization's bad kids are being murdered in every grisly way imaginable: slashed, drilled, beaten, choked--even drowned in an outhouse. But who exactly are the "bad kids"? They are the ones who smoke, drink, swear, and fornicate at every opportunity, and Rolling Hills is full of these brats. One by one, they are taught their lesson by murderess Angela Baker (Pamela Springsteen, Bruce's younger sister), a harsh yet cheerful counselor who lives by the motto "Keep your morals strong and you'll never go wrong." As the kids are murdered and the other counselors begin to wonder about their diminishing enrollment, Angela explains that she has sent the missing miscreants home for breaking the camp rules. Only then do they learn that Angela is a transsexual who committed the murders in the original SLEEPAWAY CAMP...as a man! SLEEPAWAY CAMP 2 is a tired, lame excuse for a film, a shameless rip-off of FRIDAY THE 13TH (which in itself doesn't win any awards for originality). This isn't a movie--it's a show reel for special-effects man Bill "Splat" Johnson. leave a comment
