Unpleasant story of London street youth Kenney who blackjacks old ladies and steals their purses. Eventually he winds up in jail with an attempted murder charge against him. Joan Collins, in her second year in films, even then looking too sophisticated for the role, plays a young girl he seduces, and Hermione Gingold stands out as an aging streetwalker. Overdose of cockney makes the dialog hard for Americans to understand. leave a comment
