Meighan plays the engineer famous for creating the New York skyline and known for being a real risk-taker. He befriends a young orphan, Albright, who has left his foster father's barge in order to have a go at the big city, and, as it happens, Albright is really the long-lost son of Meighan. Meighan meets his proper end by falling from one of his skyscrapers, though from only the third floor. The interesting camera angles and photography of the New York skyline leave the greatest impression in this story that otherwise stifles the actors with its contrived narrative. leave a comment
