The passengers and crew on a flight to San Francisco are drugged and a man guarding $250,000 is murdered. Winters and Number One Son Luke investigate in this fairly entertaining entry in Monogram's Charlie Chan series. The supporting cast is good and Winters gives an engaging
performance. The script and direction are typically good genre efforts. Winters replaced Sidney Toler (who took over for the original Chan, Warner Oland) as the famous Chinese detective. He starred in six Charlie Chan movies, after which the series disappeared.
