Who'd have thought some geeky adolescent Dungeons and Dragons freak's fantasies of what goes on behind the corridors of power would have wound up a major motion picture? But that's exactly what this dopey "thriller" is; it proposes that whenever ambitious judges and senators aren't attending to the business of consolidating rich white men's stranglehold on the world's affairs, they're encouraging college boys to prank around in scarlet monks' hoods and coffins, play Truth or Dare in well-appointed dungeons, brand each other, and pair off into teams suggestively referred to as "soulmates."
