Humorous parody begins with a typical postwar family arguing over what to watch on the tube. When the kid turns his cap gun on his parents, everyone agrees to watch TV cowboy "Skipalong Rosenbloom." From there the film turns into a cute version of a cowboy show complete with commercials.
Rosenbloom and Baer, both ex-fighters, do a variation on the "save the ranch" theme seen in countless westerns. This is mild fun. Direction is well paced and the two fighters make a good cowboy team.
