A group of American soldiers goes behind Nazi lines to blow up a German railway bridge. The familiar army officers, hard-bitten sergeant, and idealistic young lieutenant travel on skis. They are offered shelter by German fraulein Carol, who then tries to poison them. An early Corman feature, this film is a crude but effective piece with some good action sequences. The film was shot in Deadwood, South Dakota, which also served as the location for BEAST FROM THE HAUNTED CAVE. Ski teams from local high schools were used as extras. leave a comment
