It's danger and intrigue in the world of deep-sea sponge fishing with this unusual idea for an otherwise routine programmer. Chaney needs some cash to buy a boat, so he borrows money from a rival fisherman. Regas lends the money, plotting all the while to sabotage Chaney's operation and make it impossible for him to marry his girl, O'Neil.
