Six Weeks

SIX WEEKS is sentimentally cloying, inadvertently funny, and lasted at the box office about half the time of the title, thereby becoming one of the larger gobblers of 1982. Patrick Dalton (Dudley Moore) is running for office in California. Nicole (Katherine Healy), the precocious daughter of wealthy Charlotte Dreyfus (Mary Tyler Moore), wants to work for his campaign, and although he doesn't want her initially, once he finds out that she's dying of leukemia, he will do anything to make her last days brighter.
