When Holt and sidekick White ride off to meet Holt's brother Chandler, they are confronted by Mason, a bad guy who's masquerading as the newly-appointed marshal. Seeing no sign of Chandler, the two run off, pretending to be scared out of their wits. Holt soon discovers that Mason and his
cohorts have kidnaped Chandler and are stealing gold from miners. In an action-packed climax, Holt fires plenty of bullets and saves his brother, halting the outlaws nefarious schemes. This is a good entry in Holt's series for RKO, full of action and a few plot twists that differentiate it from
most westerns. Direction and production values are good for the fare.
