Day's last picture before going on to her successful TV series. She plays a widowed owner of a lumberyard with three sons and a sheepdog; Keith is a widower with a daughter and a French poodle. Brought together at a party by inveterate matchmaker Carroll, Day's sister, Keith and Day are embarrassed by the forced encounter. Meeting again by accident at an all-night market, the two fall in love and elope.
