A pleasant little comedy with lots of music and proof again that Hollywood liked nothing better than making movies about Hollywood. The two Jacks, Oakie and Haley, are a songwriting team in New York. Their publisher, Gordon, and the rehearsal pianist, Revel, advise them to "Go West, Young Men." (Gordon and Revel also wrote the film's music and lyrics).
