Judy Garland's 35th and last film: sadly, it doesn't compare with her fine performances in other films. She plays a famous singer who goes on tour in England after her second divorce. In London she looks up Bogarde, a doctor with whom she had an affair some years before. Garland had his child, and Bogarde, married at the time, adopted the child with the agreement that Garland would stay out of their lives.
