When a rich man and his daughter have car problems in the South they accidentally discover Tomlin, a hillbilly singer, and his constantly grinning sidekick, Wing. The singer is signed to a radio contract, but the father's business manager fears Tomlin will get in the way of his romance
with the daughter. Shortly before his first radio performance, Tomlin is kidnaped by the blighter, but he manages to escape. He catches a cold and loses his voice, but in the end he's back to singing and wins the heart of his benefactor. Cardboard acting and weak production values sink this inept
