Rich playboy Melton goes incognito and takes a job as a clerk for a store he owns. He wants to learn the ins and outs of the business, but gets distracted in his aims by music counter clerk Ellis--a perfect contrivance to pepper this forgettable programmer with some equally forgettable tunes sung by Melton. Herbert has some funny moments as a kleptomaniac, but this is mostly an inept musical that suffers from a silly screenplay and a lower-than-usual budget.
