When radio singing star Jones is turned down by the Army at his physical examination during WW II, the tenor decides to do his part for Uncle Sam by working at a midwestern defense plant. There he meets the boss's daughter (Vincent) and falls in love. Finally he organizes a big show to help sell war bonds.
