A wagon train loaded with supplies is heading West and some bad guys want the cargo for themselves. An enjoyable outing for Ritter, with more emphasis on comedy than standard western plot devices. Former Mack Sennett loonies St. John, Pollard, and Conklin are part of the fun. Ritter saves the day and gets the girl in an overall good western. Director Bradbury collaborated with Ritter on "Twilight Reverie," one of the songs in the film. Songs include: "Sing, Cowboy, Sing" (Ted Choate), "Goodbye, Old Paint" (Ritter). leave a comment
